Patricia Heaton Sued by Former Assistant
Former assistant claims Patricia Heaton owes her money and wrongfully fired her.
Patricia Heaton is being sued by her former personal assistant, Jennifer Lee.
In a lawsuit filed Monday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Lee claims wrongful termination and said she was "fired soon after she requested payment for her unpaid wages," Access Hollywood reported.
She worked for the "Everybody Loves Raymond" star and her husband, David Hunt, from August 2007 to March 2009.
According to TMZ, Lee claims Heaton owes her at least $7,425 in unpaid wages and overtime pay.
Her attorney said "this is not a knee-jerk reaction" and that Lee has been demanding to be paid since January.
