Patti Stanger offends many on 'Watch What Happens Live'

Patti Stanger, star of Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, managed to affront gay men, Jews, and women during a Sunday appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

According to On the Red Carpet, Stanger joined host Andy Cohen on the show to answer dating questions from callers. Stanger asked one caller if he was gay. When the man answered yes, Stanger remarked, “In the gay world, there’s always going to be open [relationships].”

When Cohen, an openly gay man, asked Stanger to clarify her statement, she responded, “There’s no curbing the gay…I’ve tried to curb you people. I’ve decided to throw in the towel and just say, ‘Do what you want. But when you find the right person, you will know.”

Stanger’s comments were not exclusively aimed at homosexuals, reports The Daily Mail. She also told a caller that “Jewish men lie” and that New York women are “snobs.”

Stanger does not appear to be very remorseful about the controversy. Her only response so far was in a tweet to an upset fan, writing, “@Paula_Kay_67 gay men <3 variety. Customary 4 them to hook up 1st, get to know the man after. Commitment’s hard when theres so much variety!”
