Paul McCartney's Divorce Almost Finished

According to Reuters, a judge will tell Paul McCartney on Monday how much of his estimated $1.6 billion dollar fortune will go to Heather Mills in a divorce settlement.

The former Beatle has experienced one of the most publicized break-ups in celebrity history and blames his recent divorce on the media's invasion on his private life. The couple was only married for four years and Judge Hugh Bennett's final judgment could very well set a legal precedent about celebrities and their brief marriages. Because of the overwhelming media attention, the judge's ruling could be kept confidential from the public.

McCartney and Mills case has been heard behind closed doors and London's High Court went so far as to black out the court windows during their trial. If either individual decides to appeal the settlement, the gagging clause will be lifted and the case will be publicized.

It is unknown how much Mills will receive in settlement money, yet it has been estimated to be between 25 and 200 million pounds.
