Paula Abdul No Longer Idle, Wants Back on 'Idol'

Sources close to estranged "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul have revealed that she may very well be in talks to get back on the show. Last month, she announced her departure from the show after producers wouldn't give her a $6 million-a-year raise. It had been rumored that Abdul may be in talks with ABC for possible roles on "Dancing with the Stars" and "Ugly Betty." Abdul, however, is apparently upset with the company for leaking information on these formative deals.

It is not likely that Abdul will be granted her much sought-after raise to a yearly $10 million. Perhaps she has realized that $4 million isn't really that bad, and is still well above what most other people in the world will make in their lifetimes.
