Paula Abdul Says She Does Not "Abuse" Drugs

Paula Abdul wants to "make it perfectly clear" that she doesn't "abuse" or isn't "addicted" to drugs in a response to a story covered by Ladies Home Journal. So, back off.

"I have never been drunk. I have never entered a rehab or detox treatment center," said the choreographer and American Idol judge. "I spent time hiking, bicycling, doing yoga and enjoying the spa. As anyone who has visited the La Costa Resort knows, it is a luxury hotel, not a rehab facility."

Abdul said she also went to the resort to beauty up, where she received a pedicure, manicure and a massage, as stated by the L.A. Times.

"At my very core, I did not like existing the way I had been," Abdul said.

Abdul clarified that she spent 3 days vacationing as opposed to a Ladies Home Journal article citing 30.
