Singer has surgery for pancreatic cancer
Opera singer Luciano Pavarotti is recovering from surgery for pancreatic cancer, according to the Associated Press. The singer's manger, Terri Robson, said the singer went in to have a growth removed days before he was supposed to leave for a scheduled trip to England.
"Fortunately, the mass was able to be completely removed," she told the AP.
The surgery will require Pavarotti to cancel all of his concerts for the rest of the year, Robson told the AP.
