Payday at Seattle Grace

T.R. Knight will be back for hit ABC show.

T.R. Knight will be back for the upcoming fourth season of Grey's Anatomy. According to Entertainment Weekly online, the actor, who plays Dr. George O'Malley on the hit show, recently accepted a very generous pay raise. It is being reported that Knight will make approximately $125,000 per episode and will receive a piece of the show's profits. Knight's contract negotiations now resemble fellow cast mates Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh.

For a moment it appeared as though Knight would not be returning to the show this coming season, after a very public altercation involving Isaiah Washington. The May 17 season finale appeared to be the end of the road for both Knight and Washington as Dr. O'Malley failed his intern exam, while Dr. Burke saw his marriage come to an end before it even began. While Knight's future with the show has now been finalized, there has been no word on plans for Washington. It has been reported that producers want to keep Washington on the show, following the announced departure of Kate Walsh, who plays Dr. Addison Shepherd. Walsh will star in the Grey's spin-off, Private Practice, airing Wednesdays this fall.

Another Grey's star is also making headlines. Katherine Heigl, who currently is featured in the hit movie, Knocked Up, is also still under contract negotiations with the show.
