Penelope Cruz Stars in 'Pirates of The Caribbean 4'

Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will have many new cast members, one of them is Penelope Cruz.

The trilogy will soon be a tetralogy. In September 2008, Captain Johnny Depp Sparrow signed on for a fourth film. However, the British actor and actress, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley called it quit after finishing Pirates of Caribbean: At World’s End.

On February 5, Mackenzie Crook also announced he would not be returning for his role as Ragetti, stating, "They haven't asked me. But actually I don't mind that at all. I'm a fan of the first one especially and I think the trilogy we've made is great. I'd almost like them to leave it there."

With the old cast gone, Rob Marshall, director of the film, will be discussing with Cruz for a potential role.

Geoffrey Rush will reprise his role as Barbossa.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, is scheduled for release on May 20, 2011.
