Pennington to Miss Remainder of Season
Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington will miss the remainder of the season.
Pro Football Weekly reports that Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington will miss the remainder of the season due to a dislocated right shoulder. Pennington is in the final year of his contract and it is speculated that his career may be over.
According to USA Today, Pennington received an MRI on his right shoulder on Monday, which he injured in the third quarter against the San Diego Chargers in San Diego on Sunday. In 2004 and 2005, Pennington had surgery on the same troublesome shoulder.
Rotowire states that Chad Henne, second-year quarterback out of Michigan, will be the new starter at quarterback.
