People Magazine Publishes First Pictures of Jolie-Pitt Twins
Thanks to People Magazine, fans across America got a glimpse of the newest Jolie-Pitt children; week old twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.
The photos were published in an issue of People that was released on newsstands today. The cover shows proud parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt cuddling their babies in a photo taken at the Chateau Miraval in Provence, France; as well as a photo of their 2-year-old daughter Shiloh holding her sister Vivienne.
According to the Associated Press, the photos were sold for $14 million; the most expensive celebrity pictures ever sold. Joint rights were given exclusively to People Magazine, and British tabloid Hello!. The money will go to a foundation created by Jolie and Pitt that focuses on helping children around the world.
In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Jolie and Pitt opened up about their growing family. "It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time," said Jolie.
In the same interview, Pitt added, "Viv is proving to resemble Ange in spirit, attitude and physicality. And Knox, a bit of me."
The twins were born July 12, expanding the Jolie Pitt family, which includes Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.
