Perez Hilton Defends His Photo of Panty-Less Miley Cyrus

Perez Hilton is no stranger to controversy, but his recent up-skirt photo of Miley Cyrus without underwear could land him in jail for child pornography charges. The day after tweeting a link to the offending picture, Hilton has spoken out in defense of his photo-sharing intentions in a video on his website.

In the video, Hilton claims that the starlet was in fact wearing underwear for two reasons. First, he cited that Cyrus would not be so ignorant as to not wear underwear in public, and secondly, he would not be so stupid as to post a picture of this online. He stated that he posted the pictures to show Cyrus in unflattering and unladylike poses.

However, according to Salon.com, even if Cyrus was wearing underwear in the photos, he could still face jail time. In one federal court, a picture of what is known as “camel toe” could be considered child pornography.
