The Perez Hilton Show
The Internet's most outspoken blogger, Perez Hilton, has landed his own TV show. VH1 is partnering with the self-dubbed "Queen of All Media" to air a series of one-hour specials.
"The show will be a fun, fresh way of looking at the wacky world of celebrities and interacting with them," read the official announcement. "It will be like PerezHilton.com come to life, but even juicier."
Perez has faced criticism in the past due to his harsh words about celebrities and photo editing tricks. He is also currently facing three lawsuits from photo agencies claiming he stole their images.
"I am willing to step up to the plate and fight for my rights and fight for the rights of all bloggers," Perez (born Mario Lavandeira) told the Los Angeles Times.
The show, "What Perez Sez," will premiere in September. Perez hopes it will make him "the gay Barbara Walters."
