PETA Has Some Fun With Woods' Scandal
Tiger Woods is not going to be too happy with a certain animal rights organization. PETA, The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is looking to create a billboard advertisement joking about Tiger Woods' recent media sex scandal.
The billboard will state, "Too much sex can be a bad thing... for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spray or neuter!"
Currently, the organization is searching for an advertiser, preferably in the pro-golfer's city of Windermere.
PETA's intentions, however, are not ill willed. "It's a fun, tongue-in-cheek approach. We hope these billboard companies will understand," claimed Virginia Fort, a campaigner for PETA.
The new advertisement is actually meant to point out concerns regarding the prevention of millions of cats and dogs from being euthanized at animal shelters.
Apparently, Woods is not a big fan of the new campaign. The organization could decide to cancel their planned advertisements. PETA recently acknowledged, "In light of conversations we have had with Mr. Woods' attorneys, plans to run our billboard are on hold at this time."
