Pink, Ricky Gervais Star as Skinned Animals in PETA Ad
Singer Pink doesn't want Jean-Paul Gaultier as a friend. She recently reiterated her "disgust" with fashion designers who use fur, at a Stella McCartney show in Paris, Yahoo Germany reports. McCartney shows "that you can make fantastic clothes without killing animals," Pink said.
Pink and British comedian Ricky Gervais star in PETA's latest ad against fur as skinned animals. While the singer provides the voice of an alligator, Gervais plays a rabbit.
In the commercial, titled "Stolen for Fashion," the computer-generated skinned animals demand their skins back from a couple with a leather handbag and a fur coat.
Jean-Paul Gaultier, meanwhile, is not impressed either by the ad or by a noisy demonstration held by PETA outside his show on Saturday.
He said he didn't care at all, adding, "I love fur!"
