Is Pippa Middleton dating a future Duke?

Pippa Middleton, the much talked about sister of Duchess Kate, might get a taste of royalty as well. Known for her body hugging bridesmaid dress, the younger Middleton is said to be romantically involved with an Earl.

Her longtime friend and supposed loved interest, George Percy, is in line to be the Duke of Northumberland. According to the British tabloid, The Sun, Northumberland is one of the wealthiest dukedoms and Percy’s buddies even call him the Prince of the North.

For those of you Harry Potter fans, you may recognize the castle that will one day be in Percy’s possession. Alnwick Castle, better known as the movie setting for Hogwarts, is a part of his family’s estate. In total, the former page to Queen Elizabeth, will inherit 100,000 acres, 100 farms, an estate located in Surey, and a beautiful mansion in London.

Middleton and Percy have been pals since their college years at Edinburgh University and allegedly had a fling during their last year. Has this former fling and longtime friendship blossomed into something more serious? The Sun claims it has indeed.

"George is very smitten and completely in love with her,” a source told The Sun.

After breaking things off with former boyfriend Alex Loudon last fall, what better way to move on than with an Earl?

Although Middleton and Percy have been spotted together several times before, the tabloid stated that their relationship just recently took off during the Middleton’s New Year’s Eve party.

"Pippa sat herself next to George at supper and made sure she was hanging off his arm all night. And then she made her move,” said The Sun’s inside source. "It was like a shark circling its bait. Some people think she has always set out to do this."

Pippa will be the second Middleton to receive the title of Duchess if the couple’s relationship ends in marriage.
