Film slated to beat 'Fast Five'at the box office

The fourth installment of Disney’s highly popular Pirates of the Caribbean series made $35 million in theaters Friday. The film may be this year’s biggest opener so far.
According to Inside Movies this installment of the series has made less than the previous films. Dead Man’s Chest earned $55.8 million in theaters on its debut and At World’s End brought in $42.9 million.
The film series is gaining large profits overseas where it has earned $92.1 million in three days.
But the filmmakers perhaps are not too concerned with competitive earnings. Proceeds from the May 7 Disneyland premiere of the film went to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America according to Yidio.com.
