Fans still have to wait for May 20 before Jack Sparrow glides back into theaters, but Disney is not letting its fans down by releasing tidbits and blurbs from on-set.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is the fourth installment of the mega-successful franchise, this time following Jack (Johnny Depp) on his own adventures apart from former stars Will (Orlando Blooom) and Bella (Kiera Knightley). This time, the journey is led by director Rob Marshall and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer with co-stars Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane
and Geoffrey Rush.
The first day of filming video tease can be found on YouTube (http://youtu.be/RWrCvlsjzTk) and peeks into the crew starting the filming process on the shores of Honopu Beach, Kauai, Hawaii. The area is fairly inaccessible so everyone, including Depp arrive by boat or helicopter, making quite grand entrances.
On Stranger Tides will be presented in Disney Digital 3D and follows the lovable and mischievous Jack Sparrow as he searches for the elusive Fountain of Youth alongside a woman from his past, played by the delightful Cruz.
