Pixar releases still from 'Toy Story Toons: Hawaiian Vacation' short

This weekend, families had the chance to watch Cars 2 which hit theaters on June 24. As it has become a custom of the Disney Pixar family to begin its features with a short, Cars 2 is just the same, and its pre-show tidbit features well-known characters.

In "Toy Story Tunes: Hawaiian Vacation," everyone's favorite toys come back to life, this time in their new owner's room, since it picks up after Toy Story 3 ended.

Ken (Michael Keaton) has been planning a trip for gal pal Barbie (Jodi Benson) to Hawaii, but his plans are botched and Bonnie leaves on her family vacation without him. Never fear though, because Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen) and gang have a plan--they bring Hawaii to them! A hilarious bit, the short proves that the studio's original stars still have what it takes to please audiences three feature-length films later.

Additional voices include Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Blake Clark, Bonnie Hunt, Timothy Dalton, Kristen Schaal, Jeff Garlin and John Ratzenberger

Previews included before the release are the mysterious Brave and the upcoming The Lion King in 3D.
