Police Arrive at Gosselin Home After Kate Shows Up Unexpectedly

A bystander called police when the estanged couple began arguing over the new nanny.

Police showed up at the Gosselin home in Wernersville, Pa., Thursday night after Kate Gosselin arrived at the house unexpectedly and argued with her estranged husband. No arrests were made, but Kate Gosselin was escorted off the property. She later checked into a hotel in Reading, Pa.

"We responded for an argument, but no police action was taken," a spokesman for the Wernersville Police Department told E! News.

Kate Gosselin arrived at the house about 7 p.m. A witness said that Jon Gosselin refused to let her in, as it was not her turn to be with her eight children.

Kate Gosselin reportedly began arguing with Jon Gosselin over the new babysitter and cocktail waitress he hired. The nanny, Stephanie Santoro, 23, is a single mom and an aspiring model. RadarOnline.com recently reported that Jon Gosselin had spent the night with her.

A bystander, whose name police have not released, called police after the former couple began screaming at each other. Authorities told TMZ that they were only there for 10 minutes and quickly got things under control.
