Police were called after Jon and Kate had an argument over the babysitter.

Once happily married Jon and Kate Gosselin now face custody battles and arguments. Around 6 p.m. on Thursday, the police stopped by the family home in Wernersville, Pa. due to an argument held by Jon and Kate.

"Police got there and calmed the situation down," an officer told People Magazine. "No one was arrested and no citations were issued."

A source says that Kate called to see who the children's babysitter was for that day. Apparently Kate, who was away from the home at the time, didn't agree with Jon's choice of babysitter, and an argument flared up between them.

"Due to the custody agreement, Kate couldn't enter the property," the source said. "The cops had no choice but to tell Kate she couldn't go past the gate."

Kate, who was very upset and in tears, left the family home and checked in at a local hotel.According to this week's People Magazine, Kate claims, "I cry all the time, in numerous airports, in airplanes."

The mother of eight also adds, "It's not like I can put the tears on hold. So I try to cry very incognito, behind my sunglasses. And after those tears, there's always the feeling of, 'How did I get here?'"
