Pooh Gets Golden Star
The honey-loving bear received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Known for his love of honey and admiration for friend Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Pooh, who turns 80 this year, joins other animated stars like Mickey Mouse and Snow White. The children's character was created by British author A.A. Milne in 1926. The golden bear brought in $6 billion in 2005 for Walt Disney which owns the rights to him.
