Potter Stars Get Over Kisses
July 15 brings the release of the next installment in the "Harry Potter" franchise. The latest film, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," brought a challenge of a completely different sort to the stars, many of whom are now in their late teens and early twenties after having acted together for almost a decade. The sixth installment features the first kiss between two sets of characters. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright) share a kiss, as do Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint).
While the actors reported that it was difficult at first to do the scenes, Watson even going so far as to call it "really awkward," both sets of actors reported, "We got over it really quickly."
One can only hope that the actors' ability to not be phased by the kisses continues, as the seventh and final installment of the series prominently features romance between these characters.
