Power Couple Stefani and Rossdale Made Appearance at Wimbledon
When Roger Federer lost his Wimbledon title, he was not the only individual who felt disappointed.
His loyal fan base, which included celebrity couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, also empathized with the five-time champion's misery.
However, while Rossdale may have been disappointed in the final results, according to People.com, he was a spirited cheerleader, engaging in actions such as fist punching, leaping out of his seat on various occasions and yelling towards the courts.
These actions were successful in raising the energy level of the competitors' guest box.
In the Wimbledon final, Rafael Nadal was able to mount a successful comeback after holding a two-set lead over defending champion Roger Federer.
He would end up taking the title on a missed forehand groundstroke by the defending champion.
Federer and Rossdale have a longtime friendship with one another, having played tennis together on various occasions. Federer even accompanied Rossdale, Stefani and their son, Kingston, to the London Zoo.
However, Nadal did not appear to have such a relationship with the couple as he went right past Stefani and Rossdale to meet his family.
While others applauded him, Stefani, Rossdale and Federer's girlfriend, Miroslava Vavrinec, remained seated.
