Predator Gets Prey

Oscar-winner Adrien Brody joins the cast of "Predators". Brody will play a mercenary named Royce who battles alien hunters.

Robert Rodirguez is heading the reinvention of the "Predator" franchise. Production of the film will begin soon on location in Hawaii. Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios in Austin, TX will also host production.

Twentieth Century Fox has hopes that this will bring about a new franchise. Sources say that Brody has signed options to return for future installments.

Brody will star alongside Danny Trejo, Alice Bragga of "I Am Legend", Walt Goggins, Oleg Taktarov, Louis Ozawa, Mahershalalhashbhaz Ali.

Adrien is best known for his Oscar-winning role in "The Pianist" which was directed by Roman Polanski.

Topher Grace from "Spider-Man 3" is also in negotiations, he will be cast as an accountant type, which masks a dangerous serial killer.

Nimrod Antal will be directing the new "Predators" which is due to be released July 7th 2010.
