'Predator' Up For A Hollywood Reboot

According to Bloody Disgusting, the Predator movie franchise could be up for a Hollywood reboot from 20th Century Fox.

The rumor says that Robert Rodriguez and his production company, Troublemaker Studios, will produce the movie for Fox with a new story in which "a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters."

There is currently no writer attached to the Predator reboot. It is not known if Rodriguez is attached as director, but it's not definitive since his production company usually has numerous properties in development.

The Predator creatures last appeared in Alien VS. Predator: Requiem, the sequel to Alien VS. Predator. Requiem was a commercial disappointment and critical flop.

The original Predator movie was released in 1987 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
