Pregnant Julia Roberts Hospitalized

Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts is in a Los Angeles Hospital after reportedly experiencing a series of early contractions, according to People magazine.

Roberts, 37, and her camera man husband Danny Moder, are expecting twins, one male, one female, in early January. Roberts was admitted into the hospital Saturday and immediately hooked up to a fetal monitor.

Though the contractions eventually stopped, she remains under observation.

While a source told People that the star's condition is not serious, she may be restricted to bed rest until the twins are born.

Roberts had planned on having her baby shower on Sunday, but after being admitted, party goers decided to bring the party to her hospital room on Sunday afternoon, People reported.

Roberts will be back on screen in the soon-to-be released "Ocean's Twelve" and "Closer."
