Pregnant Man Gives Birth to Second Child
The "pregnant man" gave birth to his second child earlier this week.
Thomas Beatie, also known as the "pregnant man," gave birth to a baby boy Tuesday morning, according to ABC News. Sources told ABC News that he gave "natural childbirth." The couple hasn't decided on a name yet. His wife, Nancy, will take care of breast feeding, just like they did with their firstborn, Susan Juliette.
Beatie made headlines last year when photos of him with a beard and a pregnant belly were published. Born a woman, Beatie had sex-reassignment surgery and legally changed his gender status from male to female. He kept his female reproductive organs and decided to bear when his wife couldn't.
The birth of their second child comes a year after their first.
