Pregnant "Man" Pops Out a Daughter

Well I just heard the news today. It seems Thomas Beatie's life is gonna change.

Yes, it's true. Thomas Beatie, the biological woman who now looks like Oscar De La Hoya, has given birth to an apparently normal baby girl.

Beatie, who has gained considerable exposure over the last few months on Inside Edition and Oprah for being a man who somehow became pregnant, actually opted to keep his female reproductive organs so he could one day reproduce.

His wife Nancy, who is unable to conceive, encouraged Beatie to get preganant using donor semen. She then opted not to have a professional inseminate Thomas, but rather do it at home herself - with a glorified turker baster.

"Sexuality is completely different than gender," Beatie once said on Oprah, responding to an audience query as to why he just didn't become a lesbian. "I just felt more comfortable being the male gender."

As for the newborn daughter, instead of reading "Heather Has Two Mommies," the proud parents are going to have to pick up "Heather Has Two Mommies, But One Had Her Breasts Removed and Grew a Goatee for Some Reason."

Might be a hard one to find at Barnes and Noble.
