Pregnant M.I.A. Plans to Perform at Grammys

Let's hope there's a doctor nearby on Grammy night – pregnant rapper M.I.A. is set to perform at Sunday's award show, which also happens to be the night of her due date.

According to People.com, M.I.A., who is also nominated for two awards, isn't too worried about giving birth onstage.

"They say that you're often late the first time, so I'm planning to go," the hip-hop artist told USA Today. "We'll see. People are trying to get me to relax and focus on the baby. It's like being in parallel universes."

The pregnant rapper, 31, is currently engaged to musician Benjamin Brewer.

Along with M.I.A., the list of performers includes John Mayer and Keith Urban, who are also nominees. The two will perform a tribute to Bo Diddley.

Teen stars Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift will also perform a duet, while U2, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna are to perform as well.

The 51st Grammy Awards will be broadcast live this Sunday starting at 8 p.m. on CBS.
