President Obama celebrates Father's Day with ice cream

It’s good to see that president is still able to celebrate Father’s Day with his two daughters.

President Barack Obama and his family were seen heading to a Georgetown ice cream parlor on Sunday to celebrate Father’s Day together.

According to WNYT.com, the first family took a 20 minute drive to the Thomas Sweet Café to enjoy some frozen treats before his two daughters, Sasha and Malia, left for their week-long trip to Africa with their mother.

Sasha and Malia are expected to land in Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday with first lady Michelle Obama, their grandmother Marian Robinson and cousins Leslie and Avery Robinson, reported the Associated Press.

The first family is traveling to Africa in order to establish better relations with Africa as well as promote education, youth engagement, and health and wellness.
