Prince Harry celebrates 25th
On Tuesday the son of the late Princess Diana, Prince Harry, celebrated his 25th birthday. Although Harry didn't party it up with the best of them, he did receive a rather nice present.
The Prince is now eligible for an inheritance left to him by Princess Diana not long after her death. It was her will that the children would be permitted to access their share at the age of 25. Patrick Jephson, former secretary to the princess, said that it was unlikely that Harry would need to delve into the inheritance.
With the young Prince hard at work as a lieutenant in the British Army he is making $48,000 to $53,000. His life now seems to be a far cry from what it was as a teen.
Harry was always whisked up in some scandal with his excess clubbing, inappropriate Halloween costumes, and use of drugs. Jephson told The Associated Press "His record of service to the country, both in the army and in his royal duties, would surely make both his parents and his grandparents very proud."
