Prince Harry Honors Injured Soldiers
According to Reuters, Prince Harry paid tribute to the injured soldiers that accompanied him on his flight home from Afghanistan.
"Those were the heroes, those who were guys who had been blown up by a mine they had no idea about," said the Prince.
"One had lost two limbs -- a left arm and a right leg -- and another guy who was saved by his mate's body being in the way but took shrapnel to the neck," Harry added.
Prince Harry returned from 10 weeks of duty in Afghanistan on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.
The British media obeyed a voluntary blackout of Prince Harry's deployment, but Web sites in Australia, Germany, and the United States eventually leaked out the information that the prince had gone to Afghanistan.
Harry was sent home after officials decided that knowledge of the prince's activity in the military would endanger him or the other soldiers in the British Army.
Harry was disappointed with the cancellation of his deployment and hopes to return soon, according to Reuters.
"Yeah, I would love to go back out ... I want to go out very, very soon," he said.
