Prince Harry Turns 21
The younger son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana- Prince Harry, turned 21 years-old on Thursday. Prince Harry has future plans that command attention.
The young man who thought he would be spending his birthday in a trench say that his future career will most likely be in the army. Red-headed Harry is enrolled at Sandhurst in Surrey, a prestigious British Army officer training center.
The prince's reputation for partying was not upheld on this birthday because he was doing military exercises. The first year at Sandhurst hasn't been all work and no play. Harry's year started off poorly, when he was photographed wearing a Nazi uniform at a party. The prince apologized with regret.
Now that Harry is growing up, he plans on being in the front line. He said that he had no intention of being an army officer if he couldn't be positioned to active service. "I hope I would not drag my sorry arse through Sandhurst . . . I would not have joined if they had said I could not be in the front line. The last thing I would want to do is for my soldiers to be sent away to Iraq and have me held back at home twiddling my thumbs, thinking what about David, what about Derek or whatever."
