Prince Makes a Deal with Target

The unusual singer hopes fans will pick up his low-priced, new album.

According to Entertainment Weekly, singer Prince has made a deal with Target regarding his latest album release. The three-disc collection will be available exclusively at Target stores and online at Target.com, once it is released on March 29.

The new release will feature two original studio albums by Prince, LOtUSFLOW3R and MPLSoUND, as well as a third disc by new artist Bria Valente.

Prince's reason for selling his album exclusively at Target is the low price of his new album, courtesy of Target. The set will sell for only $11.98, much cheaper than such a set would sell for at various music stores. The singer is hoping to combat the iTunes-only public, where fans can purchase music by song or often for less than in stores.
