Prison Break Actor Pleaded Guilty to Manslaughter
Lane Garrison admits guilt over car crash.
Lane Garrison, 26, who plays Tweener in the Fox Television series, pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and DUI charges related to the crash on December 2.
If convicted of the charges, Garrison would face a prison term of six years and eight months when he returns to court on August 2. He is also charged with providing alcohol to a minor.
Garrison was driving his Land Rover when he left the road and hit a tree. The actor had minor injuries, but one of his three passengers, teenager Vahagn Setian, later died.
Police said that Garrison was two times over California's limit for alcohol in the blood while driving. Garrison declined to comment at the hearing at Beverly Hills Superior Court.
