Private Funeral for Farrah Fawcett Scheduled for Tuesday

Friends and family will gather to pay their respects to the late actress.

A private funeral service for actress Farrah Fawcett has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, at 7 p.m. ET, FOX News reports.

The service for Fawcett, who was best known for her role in "Charlie's Angels," is reportedly by invitation only. Fawcett, after years of fighting anal cancer, died on Thursday at age 62.

According to FOX News, Fawcett was diagnosed with the cancer in 2006 and underwent extensive chemotherapy and surgery in both the United States and Germany. She reportedly stopped receiving treatment in May after it was revealed that the cancer had spread to her liver. Fawcett told the story of her battle with cancer in the NBC documentary, "Farrah's Story."

Ryan O'Neal, Fawcett's longtime partner, will be organizing the private funeral service for her.

"She's gone. She now belongs to the ages. . . . She's now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much," O'Neal said, shortly after Fawcett's passing. "She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now."
