'Project Runway' Picks Its Final 3 For Fashion Week

After the elimination of Christopher Straub and Gordana Gehlhausen from last night's Project Runway, Althea Harper, Carol Hannah Whitfield, and Irina Shabayeva are left to battle it out in the finale episode.

And this was spoiled all the way back in February when the sixth season's finale was filmed at New York Fashion Week. It was leaked by some of the finale runway show's models that all of the finalists would be women, two of them blonde.

In last night's episode, the Top 5 competed in their final runway before Fashion Week. Travels took them to the Los Angeles Getty Center where they had a chance to meet L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. It was at this location that they received the final task of creating an outfit inspired by the Getty Center.

After creation, guest judges Cynthia Rowley and Cindy Crawford joined regulars Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia to look at everyone's work. Consensus saw Althea's project as "brave" but ultimately disappointing, Irina's in need of simplicity, praise for Gordana's, "perfection" for Carol, and mixed feelings towards Christopher's.

In the end, Christopher and Gordana were set to say goodbye. Neither had regrets and were hopeful for the future.

The first part of Project Runway's sixth-season finale will air on Thursday, November 12 at 10PM ET/Pt. The winner will be revealed the following Thursday at 10PM ET/PT.
