Project Runway's Nina Garcia, "You're Out!"

Nina Garcia and Project Runway make big changes.

Women's Wear Daily's Web site reported Friday that Project Runway judge Nina Garcia has parted ways with Elle magazine, where she has served as fashion director since 2000.

Neither Garcia nor anyone from Elle have yet commented.

The news comes just days after the Weinstein Company, which produces Project Runway, announced the series would be moving to a new network, Lifetime.

And, the surprise move brought out the wrath of NBC Universal's legal department.

In the breach-of-contract lawsuit NBC filed Monday, Bravo's parent company called the Weinsteins' five-year deal with Lifetime an "invalid agreement" and accused the producers of engaging in "sham negotiations."

Host Heidi Klum and style maven Tim Gunn are already on board with the network swap, and Lifetime execs have professed hope that Garcia and fashion designer Michael Kors will also accompany the show to its new home.

It remains unclear as to whether Garcia's reported break with Elle would affect any future deals.
