Promiscuous spends sixth week as chart topper
Song is now the biggest hit of 2006
Nelly Furtado has the biggest single of 2006, now that "Promiscuous" is sitting atop the Billboard Top 100 chart for the sixth straight week. It is the longest time a single has remained on top of the charts, since "Gold Digger" by Kanye West was there for 10 weeks.
Gnarles Barkley's "Crazy" remained in the No. 2 spot for the fourth straight week. Cassie's "Me & U," Beyonce's "Dej? Vu" and Stacie "Fergie" Ferguson's "London Bridge" rounded out the top five.
"London Bridge" jumped 79 places in the charts in one week, the second-biggest jump ever.
