Prosecution rests in R. Kelly trial

Singer R. Kelly, 41, could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted of child pornography. He is being accused of taping himself having sex with multiple victims, some of whom are underage.

According to The Associated Press the final witness was brought to the stand Monday.

Lisa Van Allen, 27, who cried during her testimony, said she had a three-way sexual encounter with Kelly and the alleged victim, thought to be as young as 13 at the time of the recordings.

Allen mentioned that Kelly taped all his sexual encounters and even tried to buy a copy of the tape from her for $250,000. She also testified that Kelly carries a bagful of homemade videos just as the one he tried to recover from her.

The prosecution revealed the tape in court only a few hours after the opening statements were made. The defense will begin its presentation on Wednesday.
