Prosecutor Wants to Arrest Jackson's Alleged Killer

Conrad Murray has to face the music.

The physician accused of administering a lethal cocktail of painkillers and anesthetics to Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray, is being sought after by Los Angeles prosecutors.

The prosecutors want to charge the physician and hold him overnight just like any other perpetrator, sources told ABC news. Murray was expected to turn himself over to the L.A. authorities to be charged with involuntary manslaughter, but his lawyers balked because they did not want him to spend time in jail.

Sources told ABC news that the prosecution would not change their process for Murray, delaying the upcoming indictment. It is likely that Murray will now be arrested and taken to court for his arraignment today or early next week.

Jackson’s sudden death at 50 while rehearsing for a major comeback tour led to worldwide mourning and the search to find out what killed Michael Jackson.

Detectives quickly came to Murray who told police he gave the singer a powerful anesthetic and other sedatives that were blamed for his death.
