Ashton Kutcher created a celebrity prank show Punk’d for MTV which pulled pranks on unsuspecting celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Mila Kunis, and many, many others, and now it has reportedly been revived for young Hollywood.
According to Access Hollywood, Ashton Kutcher, who now works on Two and a Half Men, will no longer serve as host, but will remain Executive Producer.
The new format of the show has each episode with a different celebrity host who will be pranking another unsuspecting celebrity. According to the website, sources confirm Justin Bieber, who was initially rumored to be host of the revamped version of the show, appears in the first episode, and plays the first prank on his friend Taylor Swift. The episode was filmed in Los Angeles on Friday.
Punk’d premiered in 2003 and went on hiatus after it’s season finale in 2007.
