Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained is drawing a lot of attention as rumors are starting to rise around Will Smith as the lead.

Not even a week has gone by since the unveiling of Tarantino’s latest project, Django Unchained, and already actors are flocking to the movie in hopes of working with the famous director. Rumors are starting to fly as Will Smith seems to be looking for the lead role of Django in the film.

This may be a good move for Tarantino as Smith’s films have a huge draw to them and they produce good results. ShockYa reveals that other actors potentially tied to the project are Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz.

The movie is about a freed slave, Django, who has set out to free his wife who is currently still a slave. All the while, Django is being pursued by a German bounty hunter, likely to be played by Christoph Waltz. Waltz appeared in Tarantino’s last big box office movie, Inglourious Basterds.

Although there seem to be many rumors already surrounding the movie that is set for production in the fall of this year in the South, BuzzFocus assures everyone that no actor is officially tied to the project yet.

The public will be anxiously awaiting more news to leak, but with an all-star cast of Smith, Jackson, and Waltz, Django Unchained is sure to draw in a huge crowd.
