Quinn's benching may cost him
Brady Quinn is set to lose more than just his pride if he doesn't see the field this Sunday when the Browns play Green Bay.
ESPN reports that according to Quinn's contract he must take at least 70 percent of the team's snaps in order to receive his bonus, $10.95 combined over two years. Sitting on the sidelines this weekend could potentially put Quinn under that 70 percent mark.
Quinn won the starting job at the start of the season but after a less than impressive performance his first three games, he was benched in favor of Derek Anderson. The Browns were 0-3 with Quinn under center, as he threw three interceptions and only one touchdown.
Talk of Quinn's discontent with the organization has been fueled by the fact that he has put his Cleveland area home up for sale.
The former Notre Dame star and first round draft pick has two years remaining on his deal with the Brown's. According to head coach Eric Mangini, the team has no intention of dealing Quinn at this time.
