Rachel Bilson launches ShoeMint

It’s the next generation of online shopping! Actress Rachel Bilson has joined the likes of Kate Bosworth, Jessica Simpson, and the Olsen twins by launching this site.

"We are so excited to not only launch Shoemint.com on Black Friday, but also to participate in "CyberMint Monday" and continue the celebration!" Bilson told Us Weekly about the newest addition to the BeachMint sites.

The website’s founder is none other than Facebook creator Mark Zuckerburg’s sister, Randi Zuckerburg.

So what exactly is BeachMint? Yahoo! OMG! reported that BeachMint was launched in October 2010 with Kate Bosworth and her celeb stylist Cher Coulter’s JewelMint, calls itself the “next generation social commerce company.”

The sites allow shoppers to purchase from the convenience of their homes with the feeling that they are shopping alongside celebs, designers, other fashion lovers, and their friends.

Randi Zuckerburg said, “These online shows make shopping on Cyber Monday social again.”

"This is what the ShoeMint shopping experience is all about: offering our members a fun, fresh experience that they won't find anywhere else," Bilson added.

A year after JewelMint was launched, Jessica Simpson joined forces with skincare expert Nerido Jo to create BeautyMint. In July 2011, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen also joined the team and added StyleMint to the BeachMint site, which sells an exclusive T-shirt collection.
