Rachel McAdams Looks Forward to Becoming a Mom

Actress Rachel McAdams, 30, is playing a mom for the first time in "The Time Traveler's Wife." A role that makes her look forward to having kids someday, she told People magazine.

"I was excited and nervous about it because I haven't done it before," she said about her role. "It was a welcome challenge."

McAdams added that the two little girls, sisters Hailey and Tatum McCann, were "fantastic" and made her "job really easy."

In the future, she said she hopes she can have the qualities that make her mom a great mom.

"My mom is a great inspiration to me. She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle," she shared. "She lets me be who I am and hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her."
