RandB Singer John Carter Dies at 75
The RandB star from The Dells passes away.
BBC News has confirmed that John Carter, R&B singer with The Dells, has died at the age of 75.WBBM News Radio reports that the double inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame died of lung cancer in Chicago.
Carter was also known for being a member of The Flamingos, which was his second trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He's best remembered for hits from the 1950s and 60s, such as 1954's "Oh What a Night" by The Dells.According to NBC Los Angeles , Carter is survived by five daughters and many grandchildren.
