Randy Jackson has reportedly signed a contract with FOX’s American Idol to return for the next season of the show, according to E! Online.

"Randy's locked in and pumped about it," a source told E! Online. "They'll officially announce with the other judges."

Rumors about who else will sign on to be a judge during season 10 of American Idol continue to circulate.

According to an American Idol production staffer, the other “judges aren’t yet formally finalized.” He said that the staff members, which travel to the audition locations, have not yet received their itineraries. However, they were told they would receive them at some point in September.

Those rumored to be judges on American Idol include Jennifer Lopez and Steven Taylor. Previous season judges, Ellen DeGenere, Kara DioGuardi and Simon Cowell, won’t be returning to the show.

The 10th season of American Idol is scheduled to premiere in January 2011.
