Despite rumors claiming otherwise, rapper Drake said he's content with his Young Money label.
According to MTV, rumors surrounding the rapper's unhappiness with his label grew when he announced his Club Paradise Tour. The tour features two non-Young Money artists, leading some to believe that Drake isn't satisfied with his current label.
"I never really know where those rumors stem from," Drake said in response to the gossip. "I'm really happy at Young Money; I really don't want to go anywhere. Me and [rapper Lil] Wayne have a great relationship."
The Canadian actor-turned-rapper asserted that he loves working with Weezy.
"At the end of the day, that's my boss. I'm his soldier. I'm cool with that. I'm good with that," he said. "That's the role I want to play. He put me here."
As AceShowBiz.com notes, Weezy returned the respect. He said Drake's upcoming sophomore album, Take Care, is guaranteed to be a hit among fans.
"I actually haven't got a chance to listen to all of it, but I heard a few songs," Weezy said. "I can tell, you know, I don't know nothing else out there that can touch it, including my stuff. That kid is on another planet."
The album's release date has been postponed to November 15.
