Rauch Traded to Twins
Pitcher Jon Rauch has been traded by the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Minnesota Twins.
According toMLB.com, the Minnesota Twins have acquired pitcher Jon Rauch from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for a player to be named.
Rauch, 30, is 2-2 with a 4.14 ERA and two saves this season, reports the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
The Associated Press states that the Twins pulled the trigger on this deal in order to improve their bullpen, which has been shaky this season. Rauch has appeared in 305 games since the start of the 2006 season, the most of any pitcher in the majors.
